Rioja, Spain’s most famous red wine region, is situated in the north, along River Ebro valley and protected by the Sierra Cantabria mountain range. Winemaker Cesar Fernández sources the finest Tempranillo grapes from the 3 subregions, Alta, Baja and Alavesa to make this ageworthy Reserva. Using finely seasoned American oak barrels he ages the wines for 24 months and then a further year in bottle to produce this complex yet mellow red. Ready to drink now, this wine will keep for 3 years from the the date of purchase if stored in a cool, dry place.
