England is a cool climate with a long growing season. As a result of the northern latitude in which the grapes are grown, the fruit benefits from an extended period of ‘hang time’ resulting in fruit with immense purity and fruit concentration, coupled with vibrant, mouthwatering acidity. This wine is from Ridgeview, one of the leading family wineries in the UK. The fruit for this wine is sourced from selected parcels across 10 different vineyard across Sussex, Surrey, Kent and East Anglia. After the second fermentation in the bottle the wine is aged for 18 months on lees.
