Product Description
Ripe, flavourful and firm with flavours of blackberry, cedar and vanilla.
Carmenere is now considered the national grape of Chile, known as a great wine the world over for meat dishes and BBQs. This classic example is ripe with dark berry and plum aromas and subtle spice, all framed by cedar and vanilla notes from ageing in oak. A firm structure and velvety texture allows the wine to have a and charming, lingering finish. The climate of the Rapel Valley terroir from where the grapes for this wine come allows it to be very enjoyable at a young age and it can be aged for some years for additional complexity.
